UPDATE #1

I’m at Shoreline because of the infection coming out of my eyes. Unfortunately because no one cared for my dry eye condition, my corneas ruptured. The condition is called "Phthisis Bulbi". I now need to have my eyes enucleated (removed). Dr. McCann suggested in the next few weeks. 

I’m going home with all sorts of stuff; antibiotics, drops, and pain medication. It’s very painful. Keep me in your thoughts.

UPDATE #2  

No tape worms this am! I’m feeling much more comfortable with my eye pain and there isn’t as much ooze coming out! Amazing what medication and care does for me!!!

I’m not as tense and I’m feeling so much more secure! I almost gave a tail wag…it’s a start!

I’m an older small Shih Tzu. I’ve been in a tough situation for a few years, but I'm here in Rescue now and my life will take me on a new adventure!

I have to go to an eye doctor. My eyes were so glued shut that when my eyes did open, so much infection came out of both, I may not have any eyes. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

I’m feeling a little out of sorts right now but my person is saying it’s going to get a whole lot better!

I think she likes me a lot!!!
