Meet Lovebug who was found on an inner city street not able to see because of a total body mat covering his entire body. A Good Samaritan took him in and had his matted coat addressed. He had eyes under all that hair!   This Samaritan had him groomed but the groomer had trouble getting his “Silver Slippers” shaved off his matted feet! Our groomer Sue, patiently worked her magic once again so he didn’t have to be anesthetized to get his “slippers” off. 

The above picture is  Lovebug looking at his “slippers” and feeling so much better! His UTI is being eradicated by antibiotics and his feet aren’t as sore and constricted. He is looking at them wondering what is that smell?

When we were called to help, it became evident after a couple of days that his plumbing was not working. With the help of Watertown Animal Hospital veterinary staff the problem was found. You couldn’t miss it! A huge stone in his bladder and several stones blocking his man part. Surgery was performed immediately.

A Little Lovebug

Now Lovebug is recovering, but he's not finished yet.. his teeth are in such bad shape that he can’t really close his lips because of the tartar that’s holding the teeth in. Yes they certainly should have been done but the bladder stones had to be addressed first!

Lovebug can use your thoughts and prayers as he recovers and if at all possible a donation to help us get all his work done. Lovebug who is 8 years old and weighs 12 pounds is just what his name is...a true Lovebug!
