RAINA
Raina, we believe is a 4 year old mini.
She isn't feeling well. Her family brought her to the vet but there doesn't seem to be a diagnosis.
Would we help this girl? Of course! We are going to try our best.
Signed over, she will be living with us and hopefully in time we will get a treatable diagnosis.

We have our answer from our Vet! FOREIGN BODY!
OUCH!!! No wonder why she felt like funk!!!!!!
PLEASE CONTINUE TO KEEP HER IN YOUR THOUGHTS and prayers! Not out of the woods yet. She had it in her stomach for 23 days.
Update #2 Tuesday morning (8/25).
Made it through the night but not eating yet.

Sometimes our Recovery Room doubles as a nursery!
We recently took in a pregnant Standard Poodle who gave birth to 5 boys and one girl on August 17. If all goes well they will be ready for their forever homes in mid-October.
From birth to adoption, puppies require a lot…..Safe Shelter: They need a clean, secure whelping box with their mother and littermates…
Weaning: Around 3 to 4 weeks, the puppies will begin transitioning to solid food using a soft puppy gruel, then by 8 weeks, they should be completely eating solid puppy food… Health and Veterinary Care: While with us the pups will be weighed regularly to ensure that each one is steadily gaining weight. They will receive their first medical checkup, initial vaccinations (like distemper and parvovirus), and deworming treatments…. Socialization and Development: Littermate play, supervised by us will help to build social skills and bite inhibition. Gradual, positive exposure to human touch, household sounds, and different surfaces will help to prevent fear and anxiety later in life.
